What are the Gene Keys?
The Gene Keys Synthesis is a transmission of living wisdom brought to you by Richard Rudd. At the core of these teachings are 64 "Gene Keys" derived from the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching and the 64 codons that can be found within the human DNA. Each Gene Key represents a particular archetype or frequency of consciousness that can be expressed at three levels of vibration: the Shadow, the Gift and the Siddhi. Through the art of contemplation you can learn how to apply these keys in your daily life. This, is where science meets spirituality. And it does so, in a very poetic and inspirational way.
Your personal, hologenetic profile, which you can generate for free here, holds a lot of wisdom about your path. Allow those teachings to challenge, question and enlighten you about who you are and why you are.

I wanna learn about my Gene Keys, where do I start?
Right where I did! I began by generating my free profile on the official Gene Keys website - a beautiful and simple first step that’s available to everyone. Then I got the book, and slowly immersed myself in the foundational courses: Activation (your prime gift codes), Venus (your specific heart healing codes) and Pearl (your prosperity codes). Together they form the GOLDEN PATH. These pathways opened doors into my inner architecture, revealing the patterns and potentials hidden in my chart, and most importantly - in my life. After years of contemplation, I decided to become a guide for others and hold sacred space for their contemplative healing journey.
Reminder. This is not a path you rush. It’s not something to “figure out.” The Gene Keys are a contemplative journey. You read, feel, pause, breathe. You let the transmission sink in - like rain into the roots of your being. As you start to recognize your unique codes, something subtle begins to shift. Awareness sharpens. The shadows become teachers. Your gifts begin to bloom.
Slowness is not optional here - it’s the way in. The Gene Keys move in spirals and cycles, arriving like waves and asking you to rest, integrate, and trust the unfolding. While this is deeply personal work, I can’t recommend the virtual events and retreats enough - they offer a supportive, global community to hold you as you move through this alchemical transformation. I am also a busy bee, working behind the scenes on birthing my own contemplative containers soon.
How do Astrology and the Gene Keys overlap?
Each zodiac sign holds 5–6 Gene Keys mapped to specific degrees, revealing their deep connection to the wheel of life and the cyclical intelligence of the cosmos. While the Gene Keys don’t rely on the planetary placements we consciously work with in astrology - drawing instead from both conscious and unconscious imprints encoded in our DNA, even before birth - the archetypal stories within each sign and their corresponding keys begin to echo one another in meaningful, mystical ways. I would never blend the systems into one - Richard Rudd’s transmission is its own living, breathing body of work, rooted in profound cellular wisdom. But as someone who works with astrology every day, I now also bring in the Gene Keys as subtle companions - offering contemplative insight and depth.
It’s not about analysis - it’s about resonance. These codes speak to the deeper layers of your being, right down to the amino acids, and invite a slower, more embodied relationship with your chart and your life.
